37 Weeks and 3 Days

We had an Ob/Gyn appointment yesterday and the baby is doing well. Her heart beat was great and the doctor thinks she may only be about 7 to 7.5 lbs at delivery. Wow! We're thinking that's pretty small even though it's average size for a girl, because Emma was 9 lb 1 oz.

My cervix is a fingertip open (about 1 cm) and I'm 50% effaced. I had a lot of braxton hicks contractions last night from about 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and we were wondering if it was the start of labor, but it didn't progress. This morning I'm having a few braxton hicks contractions again which is all a lot more than I've had with this pregnancy so far.
